If I could be a character in a book it would be...

If I could be a character in a book I would probably want to be Forrest Gump in the book Forrest Gump. I would choose him because of all the adventures he goes on and all the things he has done. their are a couple of things that make me not want to be him though one is he's not very smart, he gets shoot in the Vietnam War, arrested for throwing the medal of honor on the ground and it bouncing and hitting some senator in the head. He also has to go to a nut house because of how strange he is. The reasons I would want to be him though are he played started running back at the University of Alabama under one of the greatest collage football coaches ever. Another reason is he was really good at ping pong and he even got to play for team U.S.A over in china and ended up saving the leader of china.

How would i solve the problem in the book?

If I were Solomon I would escape and go to Mr. Fords house and I would tell him the whole story about how he is a free slave and can prove it if he takes him to New York and how he has a wife and kids in New York.

If i could change places with some one in my book it would have to be.....

If I had the opportunity to change places with a character in my book it would have to be Solomon Northup I would choose him because he is very hard working and loyal. He is also a man of all crafts from being a free slave he picked up on how to do a lot of different things that have helped him out. Also he is very good on the Violin. I think it would be awesome to be as hardworking and loyal and as smart as he is. I have also always wanted to learn how to play an instrument so that would be really awesome also.

the character i dislike in the book chains by Laurie Halse Anderson would have to be miss Lockton/Madam

I dislike Madam because she has a past of being very violent with her slaves for not doing something they were told or if they did it wrong. One instance an old slave didn't do something she was told and talked back so Madam beat her and broke her arm and then the arm didn't heal right so the slaves arm was useless and was just limp. Another moment that made me not like her was when she sold the main characters baby sister who is only five with out her knowing. another moment is when Isabel found out the next morning she confronted Madam about it so Madam threw a picture frame at her and made her start bleeding from her forehead after that Isabel ran away and Madam found her so she had her drug by a horse tied to a rope back to the prison where it was wet damp and cold with no food, rats and a crazy lady. Then she had her branded on the check with an I in front of anybody and everybody who wanted to watch.
